Higher National Degree in Industrial Maintenance & Engineering DUT GIM offers a multidisciplinary scientific and technical training in order to understand complex systems in both their design, installation and continued operation.

The goal of industrial engineering is to optimize the overall performance of an industrial company acting on its organization and improving processes implemented.

The purpose of maintenance is not the repair of industrial plants but also the detection and analysis of the weaknesses of production lines to proceed with the establishment of a comprehensive conservation strategy. In case of complex failure, a senior maintenance technician is required to accompany and supervise the operation of teams of specialized workers and to bridge the gap between these teams and the management of the production site.
